EXPERIENCING GOD’S MERCY IN TIMES OF NEED!
Psalm 57:1-3, “Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy on me, for in you my soul takes refuge. I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings until the disaster has passed. I cry out to God Most High, to God who fulfills his purpose for me.”
Psalm 136:1-3, “O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy a endureth for ever. [2] O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever. [3] O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever”.
Mercy is a concept that refers to the compassionate and forgiving treatment of others, especially those who have committed wrongs or made mistakes. It involves showing kindness, pity, and leniency to those who are vulnerable, suffering, or in need.
In religious contexts, mercy is often associated with GOD’S LOVE and FORGIVENESS TOWARDS HUMANITY.
It is seen as a DIVINE ATTRIBUTE THAT MOTIVATES GOD TO SHOW COMPASSION and SPARE PEOPLE FROM PUNISHMENT OR JUDGMENT.

In the Bible, mercy is described as one of God’s core attributes, and is often linked with love, grace, and forgiveness. [Psalm 136:1-3].

Good Morning. Today, O Lord, forgive me my sins, comfort me in our troubles, and give me hope for the future. May your mercy be my refuge and ny strength in Jesus’ name!
