FINISHING STRONG!
[The Grace To End Well].

Text: 2 Timothy 4:7-8, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.”

[Trusting God’s Power and Providence]

2 Kings 19:20-21, “Then Isaiah son of Amoz sent a message to Hezekiah: ‘This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: I have heard your prayer concerning Sennacherib king of Assyria. This is the word that the Lord has spoken against him: The virgin daughter of Zion despises and mocks you; the daughter of Jerusalem tosses her head as you flee.'”

Today, we’re going to look at something that might seem unusual – LAUGHING AT OUR ENEMIES. But we’re not talking about MOCKING or RIDICULING them; we’re talking about trusting in God’s power and providence to the point where we can laugh at the SCHEMES and PLANS of THOSE WHO SEEK TO HARM US.

– God promises to give us the laughter of triumph [Psalm 126:2-3].

– God promises to make our enemies a footstool [Psalm 110:1].

– God promises to give us victory over our enemies [Romans 8:37].

HOW TO LAUGH YOUR ENEMIES TO SCORN.

– Trusting in God’s power and providence [Psalm 37:4-5].

– Praying and asking God for His help [Psalm 50:15].

– Stand firm in our faith [Ephesians 6:10-18].

– Laughing with the laughter of triumph [Proverbs 1:26].

Prayers
1. Lord, give me the laughter of triumph over my enemies!

2. My Father ×3, Help me to trust in your power and providence!

3. Let all my enemies be put to shame!

4. I shall be victorious in Christ!

Good Morning. Today, O Lord I I stand firm in your faith, give me the laughter of triumph and help me to trust in your power and providence, so that I will laugh all my enemies to scorn, in the name of JESUS!
