John 2:4
It says, “And Jesus said to her, ‘Woman, what does this have to do with me? My hour has not yet come.'”
In this verse, Jesus is speaking to his mother, Mary, at the wedding in Cana.
Mary informs Jesus that the wine has run out, and Jesus responds by saying, “Woman, what does this have to do with me? My hour has not yet come.”
This statement suggests that Jesus is aware of his divine purpose and the timing of his ministry.
He is indicating that it is not yet the appropriate time for him to perform miracles or reveal his true identity.
Despite this, Jesus goes on to perform his first public miracle by turning water into wine, demonstrating his power and authority.
