This verse says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
This verse encourages us to have COMPLETE TRUST IN GOD and NOT RELY SOLELY ON OUR OWN UNDERSTANDING.
IT TEACHES US TO ACKNOWLEDGE GOD IN ALL ASPECTS OF OUR LIVES and SUBMIT TO HIS GUIDANCE.
By doing so, GOD PROMISES TO MAKE OUR PATHS STRAIGHT, meaning HE WILL LEAD and DIRECT US IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION.
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
This verse is a COMFORTING REMINDER THAT WE SHOULD NOT BE AFRAID or DISCOURAGED BECAUSE GOD IS ALWAYS WITH US.
It assures us that GOD IS OUR STRENGTH and SUPPORT, and HE WILL HELP US IN TIMES OF NEED.
The mention of GOD’S RIGHTEOUS RIGHT HAND SYMBOLIZES HIS POWER and ABILITY TO UPHOLD and PROTECT US.
On his way to Rome, Apostle Paul and 276 others were SHIPWRECKED!
We can LEARN THREE THINGS FROM THEIR STORY.
First, THAT WE MUST LISTEN TO GOD. IF WE DON’T, WE’LL EXPERIENCE HEARTACHE AND LOSS: Paul warned them, ‘’ Men I can see that our voyage is going to be DISASTROUS and BRING GREAT LOSS’’ …. the majority decided that we should sail on ….’ [Act27:9 -12]. Notice, being in the majority doesn’t make somebody right. Who are we listening to? Do they know God? Are they walking by FAITH or by HUMAN REASONING? Jesus said, ‘ …. he who receives whomever I send receives me’ [John 13:20].
Secondly, that the PURPOSE OF GOD WILL ALWAYS OVERCOME THE PLANS OF MEN AND WOMEN. God will always OVERCOME the PLANS of MEN and WOMEN. He can actually make MISTAKES WORK for our GOOD. Through this shipwreck, Paul landed on Malta and introduced the Gospel to the people there. Instead of beating ourselves up over mistake, or arguing about who’s right and who’s wrong, we should always try to see the HAND of GOD in it.
Finally, whatever we’ve lost, GOD CAN RESTORE IT! ‘[The people of Malta] honoured us in many ways and when we were ready to sail, they furnished us with the supplies we needed’ [Act28:10].
DO NOT LIMIT GOD! HE WILL USE PEOPLE TO BLESS YOU: those people you haven’t even met before. LET’S BE ENCOURAGED; GOD WILL BRING US THROUGH EVERY SITUATION WE MIGHT BE PASSING THROUGH IN JESUS NAME.
Prayers 1. From now on, I shall continue to HARKEN to the VOICE of God in the name of Jesus.
2. O lord, GRANT me the GRACE to OVERCOME the PLANS of men over my life in the name of Jesus.
3. Whatever I might have lost, Father lord, RESTORE them now in the name of Jesus.
4. Divine EXPERIENCE from God, FALL on me now in the name of Jesus.
5. People that will BLESS ME, LOCATE ME, in the name of Jesus.
Good Morning. From now on, I BULLDOZE my WAY into SUPERNATURAL BREAKTHROUGH in every department of my life, in the name of JESUS!
Boxing Day is a holiday that is traditionally celebrated on the day after Christmas, which is DECEMBER 26TH.
It originated in the United Kingdom and is now observed in many countries around the world.
The exact origins of Boxing Day are not entirely clear, but there are a few theories.
One theory suggests that it started in the Middle Ages when churches would open their collection boxes on the day after Christmas and distribute the contents to the poor.
Another theory is that it was a day when servants and tradespeople would receive gifts or “Christmas boxes” from their employers as a token of appreciation for their hard work throughout the year.
In modern times, Boxing Day has become a day for various activities. It is often associated with shopping sales, where retailers offer discounts and promotions. Many people also use this day to spend time with family and friends, enjoying leftover Christmas meals and exchanging gifts.
In some countries, it is a public holiday, allowing people to relax and enjoy leisure activities.
The significance of Boxing Day lies in its historical and cultural traditions. It is a day to show gratitude and generosity towards others, particularly those who are less fortunate.
It is also a time to reflect on the spirit of giving and to appreciate the efforts of those who work behind the scenes to make our lives better.
This a verse from the Bible that says, “Jesus said, ‘For judgment I have come into this world, so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind.'”
This verse is part of a larger story in the Gospel of John where Jesus heals a man who was born blind. In this verse, Jesus is speaking metaphorically, using the physical healing of the blind man to illustrate a deeper spiritual truth.
He is saying that HE HAS COME TO BRING SPIRITUAL SIGHT TO THOSE WHO ARE SPIRITUALLY BLIND, BUT THOSE WHO THINK THEY CAN SEE AND UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING WILL ACTUALLY BECOME SPIRITUALLY BLIND.
Psalm 75:6,”For promotion h cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south”
Psalm 40:2,”He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings”
Prayers 1. O God, thank you for you are the God of UPLIFTMENT!
2. O Lord, have mercy on me, LIFT ME UP!
3. Spirit of rise and fall attacking my lifting up, BE BLIND!
4. Lifter of head, here I am, LIFT ME UP!
4. Here I am, O God, LIFT ME UP and SUSTAIN ME!
5. God of promotion, PROMOTE ME and my Family!
Good Morning. Today, POWER THAT LIFTED JESUS UP from the grave and cause him to sit at the right hand of the father, UPLIFT ME NOW, in the name of JESUS!
There are several lessons that we can learn from the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. Here are a few:
1. Purpose: Jesus Christ is not an accidental discharge. He was giving birth for a purpose to fulfil. So we too as followers are to know that we are also not a mistake on this planet earth. We all represent a purpose to fulfill. Purpose for which Jesus Christ was created was for the Salvation of soul of man. We all have limited time to fulfill our defined purpose. Let us maximize it, move with it and fulfill it in due course.
2. Humility: Jesus was born in a humble manger, showing us the importance of humility and simplicity in our lives. No matter the circumstance that surround our birth, there is need for us to be humble.
3. Faith: Mary and Joseph had faith in God’s plan, even though they faced challenges. This teaches us the importance of trusting in God’s guidance.
4. Love and compassion: Jesus’ birth reminds us of the unconditional love and compassion that God has for humanity. It encourages us to show love and kindness to others.
5. Redemption: Jesus’ birth marks the beginning of God’s plan for the redemption of humanity. It teaches us about the power of forgiveness and the opportunity for a fresh start.
6. Opposition and betrayal: Just as Jesus Christ experience this in His entire life, expect to have opposition and betrayal, even from your love ones.
7. Discipline: Jesus Christ was a man of discipline. This attribute of which we must demonstrate in our daily life.
8. Joy and hope: The birth of Jesus brings joy and hope to humanity and world at large. It reminds us that even in difficult times, there is always hope for a better future.
