Psalm 119:18, “Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of your law”
Psalm 119:130, “The unfolding of your words gives light; it imparts understanding to the simple”
Luke 24:45, “Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures”
Prayer
1. O Lord, open my eyes to understand your words!
2. O Lord, amendments that I need to do, to open my eyes clearly, show me!
3. Ability to apply the understanding of your words to my life, give it to me!
4. O Lord, reveal yourself to me today!
5. Discernment to distinguish between distinguish between good and evil, and to make wise decisions, grant it unto me!
Good Morning. O Lord, , I come before you today open my eyes to see the wondrous things in your words. Give me spiritual insight and enlightenment to understand your will and purposes for my life. Jeremiah 33:6 – Behold, I will bring to it health and healing, and I will heal them and reveal to them abundance of prosperity and security.
1 Peter 2:24 – He himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By His wounds you have been healed.
Psalm 41:3 – The Lord sustains him on his sickbed; in his illness you restore him to full health.
Psalm 147:3 – He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
Isaiah 53:5 – But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

SPIRITUAL PARASITES! [Hinderers of Spiritual Growth]
“Matthew 13:19, “When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in their heart. This is the seed sown along the path.”
Spiritual parasites are influences or entities that feed on our spiritual lives, draining our vitality and hindering our growth [Matthew 13:19, 2 Timothy 2:17].
TYPES OF SPIRITUAL PARASITES
[Ephesians 6:12, 1 Peter 5:8]
This include:
– Unforgiveness and bitterness
– Fear and anxiety
– Lust and immorality
– Pride and self – centeredness
– Demonic influences
TACTICS OF SPIRITUAL PARASITES
[2 Corinthians 2:11, 1 Peter 5:8]
They seek to:
– Deceive and manipulate
– Discourage and despair
– Distract and divert
– Destroy and devour
THE DEFENSE AGAINST SPIRITUAL PARASITES
[Ephesians 6:10-18, James 4:7-8]
We can resist them by:
– Putting on spiritual armour
– Submitting to God’s authority
– Resisting the devil’s schemes
– Filling ourselves with God’s word
CONCLUSION
Let us beware of spiritual parasites and actively resist them. May we cultivate a strong spiritual immune system, nourished by God’s word and empowered by His Spirit.

THE LIFTING POWER!
John 15:5 Jesus said ‘’I am the vine, ye are the branches; He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit; for without me ye can do nothing’’ It dosen’t matter what your EFFORTS are, they are in VAIN without the LORD. This means that you can’t do anything of ETERNAL WORTH without the HELP of HOLY SPIRIT!
Going through LIFE struggling on your own is a mere WASTE of TIME and if care is not taken you’ll achieve NOTHING at the end of your ENDEAVOURS! What you need is the TOUCH of His POWER in your LIFE. You need HIM to FILL you with his GLORY. He KNOWS about YOU, your FAMILY, JOB, BUSINESS or your CAREER than you could ever imagine.
If you can only TRUST the HOLY SPIRIT there’s nothing you CAN’T DO; His POWER will work through your LIFE in a TREMENDOUS way. Therefore, don’t leave HIM out of anything you’re doing. He is your HELPER, STRENGTHENER, GUIDE, INSTRUCTOR, TEACHER and so much more.
Let Him carry out His MINISTRY in YOUR life today and make your life MEANINGFUL. He’s the HEALING and LIFTING POWER that YOU NEED to sustain yourself!

DESTROYING ANTI-TESTIMONY ALTARS.
[Breaking the powers of negative testimonies]
Matthew 15:19, “For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander.”
Anti-testimony altars are negative patterns, habits, or mindsets that contradict our faith and hinder our ability to share the good news of Jesus Christ. They can be thoughts, words, or actions that testify against God’s goodness, love, and power in our lives.
EXAMPLES OF ANTI-TESTIMONY ALTARS:
– Negative self-talk
– Unforgiveness
– Bitterness
– Fear
– Doubt
– Unbelief
– Complaining
– Criticism
– Gossip
– Slander
THE DANGER OF ANTI-TESTIMONY ALTARS.
These altars can:
– Block our prayers and hinder our relationship with God [Psalm 66:18].
– Defile our hearts and minds [Matthew 15:19-20].
– Affect our witness and testimony to others [Matthew 5:13-16].
– Give the enemy a foothold in our lives [Ephesians 4:27].
HOW TO DESTROY ANTI-TESTIMONY ALTARS.
– Recognize and acknowledge them [Psalm 139:23-24].
– Repent and ask for forgiveness [1 John 1:9].
– Replace negative thoughts and words with God’s truth [Philippians 4:8].
– Resist the enemy’s schemes [James 4:7-8].
– Seek the help of the Holy Spirit [Romans 8:26-27].

GOD’S LOVE IN YOU!
John 3:16,’’ For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life’’.
Romans 5:8, “But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us”.
Do you have God’s love in you? The only way to have God’s love is to have God’s Son! JESUS. He came to give His life for us that we might experience the love of God. Look at Romans 5:5, “Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” In order to have heaven’s love in your life, you must have heaven’s King – Jesus. When you receive Him, He gives you the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit pours that love into your hearts. If you do not know Jesus as your Saviour, come to Him today. Admit that you are a sinner and ask Him to forgive you. Believe that He died for you at Calvary and rose from the grave. Confess Him today as your lord and personal saviour.
Is there a person here today who needs to have a renewal of love in his/her heart? Are you holding a grudge against someone?
Are you finding it hard to love as you know God desires for you to love? Come today, and ask God to fill you again with His loving, powerful, joyful Holy Spirit.
Whether in your family – Husband and Wife – Parent and Child – Brother and Sister – or, in the church, we need a new infusion of God’s wonderful love. Let us ask Him today to pour a new love into us and through us to others!
Note that, Jesus loves you eternally! That should make you smile 365 days a year.

1 Kings 11:1-4 , ‘’vs 11: But king Solomon loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, and Hittites … verse 4, For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as was the heart of David his father’’.
A man once said, ‘‘FORGIVE MANY THINGS IN OTHERS BUT NOTHING IN YOURSELF’’. That means, ‘’ DO NOT PET or PAMPER YOURSELF.
TELL YOURSELF THE HARD TRUTH and DEAL WITH YOURSELF MORE THAN YOU DEAL WITH THE DEVIL! The DEVIL IS NOT YOUR GREATEST ENEMY! because JESUS BRUISED HIS HEAD ABOUT 2000 YEARS AGO.
Your greatest enemy is YOURSELF: your EMOTION, your BODY, your APPETITE, etc.
Brother Paul said, ‘‘but I keep under my body and bring it into subjection (a forceful control), least that by any means when I have preached to others, I myself should be cast away’’ [1 Cor. 9:27].
Solomon HINDERED his GLORY because he FORGETS TO CONSIDER THE ENEMY WITHIN HIMSELF [1 KING 11:1] :he lived with many strange women.
Beloved, don’t hinder your PRAYERS/BREAKTHROUGHS with your own HANDS. For example, BITTERNESS/MALICE cancels your prayers. Not TITHING slow down your progress. NOT being HONEST with your spouse and MURMURING against SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY makes you go round and round.
Deal with the ‘DEVIL’ you know: YOURSELF. LAZINESS in PRAYERS/BIBLE STUDIES will ruin you FOREVER.
HANDLE your BODY/SLEEPING HABITS. HANDLE your EATING HABITS. Why would you uproot that you have planted? An African proverb says: ‘‘When there is no enemy within, the enemies outside cannot hurt you.’’
Abraham Lincoln said: ‘No man is free, who is not a master of himself.’’ Edmund Hillary wrote: ‘‘It is not the mountain we conquer but ourselves.’’
Today, REFUSE TO BE YOUR OWN ENEMY! LET US LEARN!
