GLORY OF THE LORD!

Exodus 19:9-15, “And the LORD said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee forever. And Moses told the words of the people unto the LORD. And the LORD said unto Moses, go unto the people, and sanctify them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their clothes, and be ready against the third day: for the third day the LORD will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai. And thou shalt set bounds unto the people round about, saying, take heed to yourselves, that ye go not up into the mount, or touch the border of it: whosoever toucheth the mount shall be surely put to death: There shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned, or shot through; whether it be beast or man, it shall not live: when the trumpet soundeth long, they shall come up to the mount. And Moses went down from the mount unto the people, and sanctified the people; and they washed their clothes. And he said unto the people, be ready against the third day: come not at your wives”.

God is everywhere but His glory cannot appear everywhere. The glory of God is not a common thing but very sacred. If the glory of God is upon an individual and he goes where he is not supposed to go, the glory will not follow him there. Also if an unqualified person comes close to the arena where God’s glory is manifesting, such an individual’s life will never remain the same.

The point is this, for the glory of God to manifest in your life, you must merit it. In the above read text, God told the people to consecrate themselves and wash their garments, the implication is that to experience the glory of God, we must be CLEAN and PURE in heart before God.

Furthermore, God expects us to be of singular purpose in other to receive this divine glory; 1Thesalonians 4:3 “For this is the will of God, your sanctification, for you to abstain from fornication”.
The fornication mentioned in this verse is not about sexual relationships outside of marriage alone but letting unlawful thoughts occupy our hearts where the love for God should be.
David wasn’t the holiest person but the love he had for God was never under threat in his heart, he loved God unconditionally which made God love him too.
Beloved, determine today, to show your life as one of the destinations that will attract the glory of God to dwell in. LOVE GOD and you will soon be a WONDER to WATCH! So, shall it be in the name of Jesus.

Prayer
1. O lord, help me to always live a consecrated life, in the name of Jesus.

2. Father lord, guide me always to be conscious of where I go, in the name of Jesus.

3. I am that I am, reposition me for uncommon glory, in the name of Jesus.

4. Belly of the swallower, burst and release my glory, in the name of Jesus.

5. Glory of my ancestors buried by idolatory, come forth, in the name of Jesus.

EMPOWERED BY CHRIST!

Text: Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

Apostle Paul wrote this letter to the Philippians while he was in prison. Despite his challenging circumstances, Paul remained joyful and confident in the Lord. In Philippians 4:10-13, he shares his secret to contentment and strength in all situations.

THE POWER OF CHRIST

In verse 13, Paul declares, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” is not just a verse – it’s a promise, a declaration, and a way of life.
The phrase “all things” encompasses every aspect of life – trials, challenges, opportunities, and responsibilities. Paul is not saying he can do everything on his own, but through Christ who empowers him.

EXAMPLES OF THOSE WHO WERE EMPOWERED IN THE BIBLE.

– Moses leading the Israelites out of Egypt (Exodus 3:10-12)

– David defeating Goliath (1 Samuel 17:45-47)

– Daniel in the lions’ den (Daniel 6:19-23)

– Jesus calming the storm (Mark 4:35-41)

These examples demonstrate that God empowers His people to accomplish great things.

CRITERIA TO BE EMPOWERED.

– Recognize your limitations
(2 Corinthians 12:9-10)

– Rely on Christ’s strength (Ephesians 6:10)

– Trust in God’s promises (Hebrews 13:5-6)

– Take action in faith (James 2:14-26)

Beloved, we can face any challenge, overcome any obstacle, and achieve great things through Christ who strengthens us. Let’s embrace this truth, rely on His power, and live a life that honours Him.

SEE A NEW THING!

Isaiah 43:18-19, “Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert”.

God is ever ready to do a new thing in our lives when other parameters and conditions are fully fulfilled. Such as timing and according to the will of God, but we also have a role to play in achieving the success of bringing what we believe God to come to pass. Someone said “a future you don’t picture; you cannot feature in it”.

Examples of those in the bible who saw great future for themselves, they include:

1. Abraham: From the time God called him out, Abraham has consistently been seeing what is right. Firstly, he saw a great city. Hebrews 11:10 “For he looked for a city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God”. he saw his descendants as stars of heaven and also saw his heir before he came to life.

2. David: as a young lad, he saw victory over Goliath and an established throne ahead of him. because of what he saw about his future, he refused to harm Saul even when he had the opportunity.

3. Paul: an apostle of Christ, his vision so took total control of his life that he was totally sold out to God. he was prepared to walk in harm’s way because of the gospel, he already saw a crown of glory awaiting him while he was still in the flesh.

Brethren, see your marriage, see your children, see your healing, see your landed properties, and they will soon manifest themselves in your life in the physical. Do not see where you are but see from where you are! So shall it be in JESUS name. Halleluyah!

Prayer
1. Father Lord, give me the grace to see beyond my limitations, in Jesus name.

2. Lord, make my voice the voice of peace, deliverance, power and solution to my future, in Jesus name.

3. Lord, give me divine direction that will propel me to greatness in Jesus name.

4. Every power assigned, to use my family/job, etc to torment me, be paralysed, in the name of Jesus.

5. Lord Jesus, give me an excellent spirit to forge ahead, never tired and weary, in Jesus name.

WHAT ARE YOU SAYING?

Mark 11:23-24, “For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall SAY unto this mountain, be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he SAITH shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he SAITH.
Therefore, I say unto you, what things so ever ye desire, when you pray, believe that ye receive them and ye shall have them”.

Jesus cursed a fig tree and on the day that followed, the tree had already dried up! The disciples were astonished at this great manifestation of the power and they pointed Jesus’ attention to it.
He taught them a simple principle about faith that when you say it, believe it, and it will come to pass.
In the world system, they say; seeing is believing, but in the kingdom system, it is vice versa; believing is seeing it. In our text above, the saying is mention three times and the receiving once. The saying precedes the manifestation. You may not believe it initially when you start saying it, but when you keep on, at a point, your faith will boost up and catch up.

This is the aspect most Christians have a challenge; they have not been properly schooled in the saying aspect. They believe quite alright but do not confess what they believe.
It is important to say it when you believe because that is what will be used to work for you.
Hebrews 3:1 “Wherefore holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our PROFESSION (confession RSV), Christ Jesus”.
Whatever you say is what Jesus will act upon.
The battles of this life are the battle of words!
Someone will invoke demonic powers and speak, and whatever he says comes to pass. But as a child of God operating with the authority of the risen Christ which is far above any power, you can use your words to cancel whatever has been spoken against you.
When David went out against Goliath, Goliath cursed David in the name of his gods. David responded instantly, he first analyzed his weapon of warfare and he decreed his victory over the Philistine. As he said it, it came to pass 1Samuel 17:41-47.
We also see another instance in Numbers 13 and 14, where the whole congregation said they cannot overcome but only Caleb and Joshua believed.
All the unbelieving generation died in the wilderness.

Beloved, begin to bless yourself as from today and continue to confess positive about your situation always.
So shall it be in the name of Jesus.

1. The lord shall not FORSAKE me and the words that comes out of my mouth!

2. Attachments to my life that can make the lord to reject me, CATCH FIRE!

3. Barriers between ME and ALMIGHTY GOD, SCATTER by FIRE!

[Wisdom and courage in the face of adversity]

Matthew 10:16, “Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.”

In a world filled with challenges and dangers, how can we survive and thrive?

Jesus’ words in Matthew 10:16 provide guidance on living wisely and courageously amidst adversity.

JESUS’ COMMISSION
[Matthew 10:5-15].

Jesus sent out His disciples to preach and heal, but warned them of the dangers they would face.

JESUS WARNING: WOLVES IN SHEEP’S CLOTHING
[Matthew 10:16-23].

Jesus cautioned His disciples to beware of false prophets, persecutors, and betrayers who would seek to harm them.

THE WISDOM OF SERPENTS [Matthew 10:16].

Be wise and discerning, recognizing potential threats and taking necessary precautions.

THE HARMLESSNESS OF DOVES
[Matthew 10:16].

Remain innocent and pure, refusing to retaliate or seek revenge.

SURVIVAL STRATEGIES
[2 Corinthians 11:3-14, Philippians 1:27-30].

1. Be aware of your surroundings [1 Peter 5:8].

2. Trust in God’s sovereignty [Psalm 23:4].

3. Seek wisdom and guidance [James 1:5].

4. Stand firm in your faith [Ephesians 6:10-18].

Surviving in a world of wolves requires wisdom, courage, and faith. May we heed Jesus’ words and live as sheep among wolves, trusting in His guidance and protection.

Anti-testimony altars are negative patterns, habits, or mindsets that contradict our faith and hinder our ability to share the good news of Jesus Christ. They can be thoughts, words, or actions that testify against God’s goodness, love, and power in our lives.

EXAMPLES OF ANTI-TESTIMONY ALTARS:

– Negative self-talk

– Unforgiveness

– Bitterness

– Fear

– Doubt

– Unbelief

– Complaining

– Criticism

– Gossip

– Slander

THE DANGER OF ANTI-TESTIMONY ALTARS.

These altars can:

– Block our prayers and hinder our relationship with God [Psalm 66:18].

– Affect our witness and testimony to others [Matthew 5:13-16].

– Give the enemy a foothold in our lives [Ephesians 4:27].

– Repent and ask for forgiveness [1 John 1:9].

– Replace negative thoughts and words with God’s truth [Philippians 4:8].

Life is full of unexpected twists and turns, and sometimes our destiny journey gets derailed by accidents, mistakes, or unforeseen circumstances. But GOD IS A MASTER REPAIRER, and HE SPECIALIZES IN RESTORING BROKEN PIECES and GETTING US BACK ON TRACK.

REALITY OF DESTINY ACCIDENTS [Proverbs 24:16)].

BREAKING FREE FROM THE STRONGHOLD OF LOSS AND HARDSHIP!

Text: 2 Corinthians 10:3-5, “For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”

A stronghold of loss and hardship refers to a situation or circumstance where an individual or group is experiencing a prolonged and intense period of difficulty, struggle, and suffering. This can include various forms of loss, such as:

1. Emotional loss [grief, trauma, etc.].

2. Financial loss [poverty, debt, etc.].

3. Physical loss [illness, disability, etc.].

4. Relational loss [broken relationships, isolation, etc.].

A stronghold of loss and hardship can also involve ongoing challenges, such as:

1. Adversity [oppression, discrimination, etc.].

2. Hardship [poverty, lack of resources, etc.].

3. Suffering [pain, distress, etc.].

A stronghold refers to a situation that seems to have a strong grip or hold on an individual or group, making it difficult to escape or overcome. It is a place of vulnerability, where one may feel trapped, helpless, or powerless.

However, it’s important to note that even in the midst of a stronghold of loss and hardship, there is always hope for transformation, healing, and redemption. With the right support, resources, and mindset, individuals can find ways to cope, adapt, and ultimately overcome their challenges.

BIBLICAL ACCOUNT OF STRONGHOLDS.

– The Israelites were held captive by the stronghold of slavery in Egypt [Exodus 1:11-14, 12:37-42].

– The Philistines were held captive by the stronghold of fear and intimidation [1 Samuel 17:1-11, 24-26]

– Paul was held captive by the stronghold of his past and his zeal for the law [Acts 9:1-22, Galatians 1:11-24].

STRONGHOLD OF LOSS AND HARDSHIP.

– It can manifest as fear, anxiety, and doubt [Matthew 14:30-31, Psalm 34:4].

– It can lead to feelings of hopelessness and despair [Psalm 38:4-6, Lamentations 3:1-20].

– It can cause us to question God’s goodness and love [Job 1:1-22, Psalm 13:1-6].

BREAKING FREE FROM THE STRONGHOLD.

– Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal saviour [John 3:16, Romans 6:23, John 1:12, John 3:36].

– Repent from your sin’s [Matthew 3:2, 1 John 1:9, Isaiah 55:7, Psalm 51:10].

– Recognize and acknowledge the stronghold [Matthew 5:3-4].

– Take captive every thought and make it obedient to Christ [2 Corinthians 10:5]

THE CASE FILE OF MY ANCESTORS!
[Understanding My Heritage, Embracing My Divine Destiny In Good Faith].

Psalm 78:1-8, “My people, hear my teaching; listen to the words of my mouth. I will open my mouth with a parable; I will utter hidden things, things from of old—things we have heard and known, things our ancestors have told us. We will not hide them from their descendants; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power and the wonders he has done.”

Just as lawyers studies various case files to understand facts and build strong argument, I want us to examine our spiritual history so as to grasp the mighty acts of God and His plan for our life.

THE TESTIMONY OF OUR ANCESTORS [Psalm 78:1-8].

The Psalmist recalls the stories of old, highlighting God’s faithfulness and power. Our ancestors’ experiences serve as a reminder of God’s goodness and guidance.

THE SINS OF OUR ANCESTORS. [Exodus 20:5, Numbers 14:18].

We must acknowledge the sins and mistakes of our ancestors, understanding how they impacted their relationship with God.
THIS RECOGNITION HELPS US LEARN FROM THEIR MISTAKES AND SEEK FORGIVENESS.

THE FAITH OF OUR ANCESTORS [Hebrews 11].

The Bible honours the faith of our ancestors, showcasing their trust and obedience. Their examples inspire us to walk in faith, trusting God’s promises and provision.

THE LEGACY OF OUR ANCESTORS [Joshua 4:1-9].

We stand on the shoulders of our ancestors, building upon their legacy. We must honour their memory by continuing their faith journey, passing on the baton of faith to the next generation.

THE DESTINY OF MY ANCESTORS [Acts 17:26-27].

GOD HAS A UNIQUE PLAN FOR EACH OF US, CONNECTED TO OUR ANCESTORS’ STORIES.

WE MUST EMBRACE OUR DESTINY, KNOWING THAT OUR ANCESTORS’ EXPERIENCES SHAPE OUR PURPOSE AND IDENTITY.

The case file of our ancestors holds valuable lessons, reminding us of GOD’S FAITHFULNESS and OUR HERITAGE.
May we honour their legacy, embrace our destiny, and write a new chapter in the story of our ancestors’ faith.

Psalm 57:1-3, “Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy on me, for in you my soul takes refuge. I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings until the disaster has passed. I cry out to God Most High, to God who fulfills his purpose for me.”

Psalm 136:1-3, “O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy a endureth for ever. [2] O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever. [3] O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever”.

Today, we’re going to look at something that might seem unusual – LAUGHING AT OUR ENEMIES. But we’re not talking about MOCKING or RIDICULING them; we’re talking about trusting in God’s power and providence to the point where we can laugh at the SCHEMES and PLANS of THOSE WHO SEEK TO HARM US.

Spiritual parasites are influences or entities that feed on our spiritual lives, draining our vitality and hindering our growth [Matthew 13:19, 2 Timothy 2:17].

TYPES OF SPIRITUAL PARASITES

This include:
– Unforgiveness and bitterness

– Fear and anxiety

– Lust and immorality

– Pride and self – centeredness

– Demonic influences

TACTICS OF SPIRITUAL PARASITES
[2 Corinthians 2:11, 1 Peter 5:8]

They seek to:
– Deceive and manipulate

– Discourage and despair

– Distract and divert

– Destroy and devour

THE DEFENSE AGAINST SPIRITUAL PARASITES
[Ephesians 6:10-18, James 4:7-8]

We can resist them by:

– Putting on spiritual armour

– Submitting to God’s authority

– Resisting the devil’s schemes

REST ROUNDABOUT!

Joshua 21:43-45 “And Jehovah gave to Israel all the land which He swore to give to their fathers. And they possessed it, and lived in it. And Jehovah gave them rest round about, according to all that He swore to their fathers. And not a man of all their enemies stood before them. Jehovah delivered all their enemies into their hand. Not a word failed from any good thing which Jehovah had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass”.

The words of God are set in truth, they can never change! When God says a thing, it is bound to happen, His word is His bond. In fact, He honours His word more than His name. with this hindsight, what is it the Lord has spoken into your life either directly or through His ministers? Rejoice for it will come to pass. To as many that remain faithful to Him, He will bring to pass all He has said He will do.
According to our text above, God gave the Israelites rest round about such that none of their enemies could withstand them. These were a people without political power or warfare might but nevertheless, God proved Himself faithful to them. They conquered nations that were long-established before them by the power of the almighty.
No matter how long the battle may be, its expiry date has come because the Lord that does not change is for you and He will grant you victory in Jesus’ name. Only believe and wait upon Him.
There are times we need to remind God of His words that He has spoken unto us for Him to bring them to pass.

Isaiah 62:6-7 “I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem, who will not always be silent all the day nor all the night; you who remember Jehovah, do not be silent. And give Him no rest until He establishes and makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth”.
When it looks as if the promise is being delayed, cry to Him to honour His word in your life.

Scripture:”…with a mighty hand and outstretched arm; His love endures forever.” (Psalm 136:12, NIV).

When you’re tempted to get discouraged by the way your life is going, remember that you’re not doing life on your own. God is behind the scenes orchestrating your life. God’s strong hand and outstretched arm are not limited by the natural; He’s supernatural. You can’t see Him, but He’s behind the scenes, and He controls the universe. He’s working all things according to His will and for your good. When God is ready to promote you, He doesn’t check with your supervisor. He opens the door. He controls what breaks come your way. Don’t lose sleep over your boss or the people who are against you. His hand is over them. Don’t get discouraged about your finances. He’s about to bring promotion, opportunity, and increase that you didn’t see coming.

What are you worrying about? The Most High God is maneuvering things in your favour. Live from a place of peace, knowing that nothing happens randomly—your steps are divinely orchestrated.

PUT ON YOUR GARMENT AND FOLLOW ME!

Acts 12:8-9 NKJV, “Then the angel said to him, Gird yourself and tie on your sandals; and so he did. And he said to him, “Put on your garment and follow me.”

The above quoted scripture is about Peter’s miraculous exit/escape from prison when all hope was lost and God has to send His angel to rescue him.

The bible says, suddenly, the angel of the Lord stood/appear when the light shine in the room. The angel, touch and wake him up snd said Hurry, get up! [Act 12:7].
Meanwhile, Peter was bounded with two chains sleeping in between two soldiers [Act 12:6].

The word came from the Angel of the Lord that Peter should get dressed, put on his shoes and garment and follow him.

There are significant lessons to learn from this Acts of the Apostles 12:9-11.
These are:

1. God is faithful and can deliver us from impossible situations [Verse 9].

2. Our obedience to God’s leading, even when uncertain, is crucial [Verse 9].

3. God’s angelic intervention and guidance are available to us as a child of God [Verse 10].

4. Prayer and intercession can lead to miraculous deliverance [Verse 12].

5. God answers prayers and can intervene in our lives when all hopes seems to have been lost [Verse 12].

6. We should be thankful and acknowledge God’s deliverance and guidance [Verse 11].

7. God’s plans and purposes are greater than human understanding [Verse 11].

8. Our faith and trust in God should be unwavering, even in challenging situations [Verse 9].

These lessons encourage us to trust in GOD’S SOVEREIGNTY, GUIDANCE, and DELIVERANCE, and to remain FAITHFUL and OBEDIENT to His leading, even when faced with uncertainty or adversity.
